Nanaimo Dog Human Trainer

It's not a diet; it's a lifestyle.

Jam doesn’t know WTF he’s getting into.

I’m hanging my hat out to Nanaimo as a dog trainer. After 30 years involved with dogs, it’s time.

What do I have to offer, though? We have no nationally recognized pet training organizations that can go ” Congrats!” You’re a recognized dog trainer from an accredited institution! Toss your cap!

This isn’t to say that there aren’t good dog training schools out there and good dog trainers who take on apprentices.

Of course, what effective dog training is… that differs from trainer to trainer.

I lean more towards LIMA . . . Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive and NILIF – Nothing In Life Is Free (although, if you’re into Douglas Adams, it’s TANSTAAFL). Again, there’s disagreement on that as well.

Basically, I want to dig into a person’s or dog’s behaviour and look past what they ‘should’ be doing and examining why they are doing what they do. Once you have a good theory (a supposition backed up by established facts), you can more effectively deal with what a dog is doing and how to direct that behaviour into something that isn’t annoying af.
